My company is based in Verona, located over three different sites distant about 2 km from each other.

A company owning more than 30 hectares, 10 hectares with cereals and the others dedicated to intensive cultivation of vegetables.

all year long in Winter, Spring, Summer.

Practically we are always producing, all year long We grow tomatoes in great quantities, Cuor di Bue, Insalataro, San Marzano, Eggplant, Cucumber, Zucchini, Pumpkin flowers, Fennel and salads in Winter and some spinach as a filler, to satisfy some customers, who probably need bulk fresh baby spinach and we provide it according to their needs.

We start directly from our plant nursery, we are a European certified plant nursery.

We start from our nursery with selected varieties of seeds, specifically chosen for these climates, for this environment, for our land.

We sow them, we transplant them in our lands, we cultivate them with the help of our staff, we always collect and package them ourselves

with our machines, we have cold rooms, and we directly deliver our products within 200-300 km from our headquarters, we transport them with our vehicles, we have refrigerated trucks, that round-the-clock are ready to leave, we are on call We also use the help of some carriers.

My policy is that everyone should stick to their job.

My job is to profitably sell my goods, my products and, consequently, taking care of the entire functioning of the company, if I do my job properly, that is, profitably selling products, then all the rest naturally follows: there are those responsible for personnel, those responsible for picking and for packaging, here we are organised like this, and, last but not least, there are also those responsible for the nursery.

How did you find out about the product?

One day showed up one of my technicians, an old acquaintance of mine, who every week visits my company and deals with plant defence, and checks if there is the need of any intervention or any treatment, talked to me about a product called Dr. Vitalfarm.

I had never heard of it. So he said: “It’s something new, a new product.

I think it can work, if you want to try it, you can carry out a test”.

Honestly I have never said no to anyone, I have nothing to hide.

What did you discover?

I tried it two years ago, if I remember correctly, two or three years ago, on a group of aubergines.

I took a certain surface, I always use the same variety, same transplant date, the nursery is ours, so I know it very well: it’s always the same.

I marked about 3000 meters, if I remember correctly, I do not recall it exactly, it’s been a while, I said: here I do everything just as for the rest of aubergines, and for the rest of the company, but here I will introduce the product.

During the transplant, the first foliar treatments, the fertilisations, I followed every suggestion given by the technician, just like a pupil in school.

The day of picking arrived, we began to collect the fruit: I had already noticed some more luxuriant, brighter plants, like grass in spring, that want to want to grow, compared to the others with transplants in March, still exposed to some cold, you risk a little and you are a bit on guard, because you never know what the weather can do.

We started picking these aubergines, we looked inside the bins, and every day I monitored quantities, I noticed the difference between the 3000 meters with the product and the 3000 meters without the product, with a difference ranging from 80 to 120 kg of additional production a day,  specifically with the aubergines.

And every day I wrote: today with the product we have these many kg, by using the traditional method we have these many kg, and I made the sum, which now I do not remember exactly, but I certainly noticed a big difference.

I specifically appointed one of my employees and told him: “Every day, until I tell you to stop, you will tell me how many bins – that’s where we put the vegetables when they are picked, and then we take them to the store – how many bins we fill.”

Every day, I gave him pen and paper, to mark the date and weight, some evenings using the product and other evenings without using the product.

And there was a remarkable, very remarkable result, I saw this, in the period when “plants are transplanted with cold weather”, the first period of spring, I noticed this big difference, I really did.

So according to my experience when it’s cold the product gives you a big help, and sometimes even a huge help. It really does.
