The vineyards, as you can see, are these, those ones on the hill, over there there is the town of Montalcino, from our vineyards we produce Brunello di Montalcino, Sangiovese 100%

What’s bothering you?

You know, climate is changing, it gets crazier and crazier, because.. temperatures have raised, when it is very warm, all of the sudden… temperatures drop and… if there is a moisture laden, we can get hail and.. we have seen it theese days in Munich: hailstones as big as nuts.

But there is also another essential element which is luck, because you can work well, but then a hailstorm comes 5 days before harvest…

Another important thing: whether the grapevine is healthy, if someone is in perfect health, getting sick gets harder.

When it comes to a person, if a person is healthy, he hardly ever gets a flu or a cold: catching a cold gets more difficult.

As regards grapevines: if a grapevine isn’t stressed and it doesn’t suffer from any deficiencies, it resists better.

What did you discover?

We tried the products to cope with abiotic stress in 2017, and then, we tried them again this year and we noticed their efficiency especially after a long period of rain and low temperatures that made us waste some time and… it destabiliezed the growth a little.

We tried these products and noticed that… actually after the first treatment even the leaves had regained, with the arrival of warm weather, they had already regained a fine green colour, and this was a sign that the product was truly working.
